A rare chance to see this terrific 1967 adaptation of Thomas Hardy's novel on the big screen.
Here is a review.
There should be tickets available on the day as it is in the big auditorium but you may get a better seat by booking in advance, at the BFI website
The film is at 3:20 pm in NFT1. We will meet from 2:50 to 3:10 pm in the main foyer between the ticket desks and bookshop. I will wear a Meetup sticker on my jacket.
Be aware, it is 168 minutes long. We may wish to go for a bite to eat afterwards. I will leave that to a majority decision.
If you want to try and sit with others in the group for the film then look at the list of seats and add your own to it.
