Announcing a new Meetup for The Santa Cruz Classical Music, Theater, Dance Meetup Group!

What: Shakespeare Santa Cruz: A Midsummer Night's Dream

When: July 25,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: If you joined us last summer for Shakespeare Santa Cruz, you know how much fun we had. If you didn't, I hope you'll come this year. A Midsummer Night's Dream, with its enchanted forest setting, is a perfect fit for the beautiful Festival Glen. Oberon, king of the fairies, enlists the help of Puck to play a trick on his queen, Titania. Soon, everyone is falling in love with the wrong person (or animal!). How will it all end? Learn more here:

We will meet in the Festival Glen for a shared picnic dinner at 7. Plan on arriving no later than 6:30 to allow time to park and get through the admission line. Look for the blue-and-white striped blanket, front and center in the general seating area. As a season-ticket holder, I will arrive early and wait in the priority line for first dibs on these prime seats. Bring a low chair, or you can rent one there for $2. Also bring a warm jacket and hat -- it gets cold at night! I will e-mail you to arrange the details of our shared picnic about a week before the performance.

Opening night for A Midsummer Night's Dream is likely to sell out. I suggest you purchase your general-admission ticket as soon as possible, either online at, or by phone:[masked]-2159.
