Hello all,
ACMA is holding an audition for all interested ensembles for this year's October 2, 2010 Carnegie Hall (Zankel Hall) concert. This audition will take place at Turtle Bay Music School's Em Lee Concert Hall.

This event is not a monthly ACMA recital per se. However, all are invited to observe the audition process in a quiet, unobtrusive manner.

Approximately 20-25 ensembles will audition for the ACMA 2010 concert, performing approximately 1- 1 1/2 minutes of a given piece to demonstrate both musical ability and ensemble dynamics. A board of audition judges will observe the proceedings, and vote on each ensemble in various areas; 11-12 of these ensembles will be selected for placement on the Carnegie Hall concert program.

To avoid any interruption of the audition process, all attendees are expected to observe ensemble performances quietly, except during the intermission.
