Opening, Arts + Re-Creation Exhibit

Penn Charter School's Arts + Re-Creation will showcase work created by more than 50 artists. Their work focuses on environmental themes and reflects awareness, thoughtful consumption and innovative repurposing of materials. Included will be sculpture, painting, ceramics, collage and jewelry. All work will be for sale.

Environmentally inspired artwork created by students in all divisions will be on display in and around the exhibition space. Proceeds from the sale of artwork and sponsor support will benefit a PC Visiting Artist Fund and an Environmentally Sustainable Fund to support PC "green" initiatives.

Opening Reception: Friday, April 12, 6-9pm, Old Gym
This "green"-inspired event for adults will be open at no cost to artists, their friends and the PC community. Enjoy art, music and festive food, meet the artists and connect with friends.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
