I've been away for the past week, and was therefore not aware of the confusion
on the classic books list.
In order to minimize the number of emails on this list, it is best that
are planned by
1) polling/popular desicion to choose the book
2) scheduling meetings, done by the organizer (me) or one of the assistant
organizers (Arlinda and John). Each meeting has a page, where members
write comments (and of course come back and change their RSVP if their plans
While it is not "forbidden" for members to send e-mails to the entire list, it
shouldn't be done lightly... think for a minute if your topic is worth 350
people's time (if in doubt check with me).
Any member who has suggestions for books (or other suggestions) can of course
always e-mail me or talk with me at any meeting.
