Meeting Description: Along with Proust and Joyce, Virginia Woolf is properly regarded as one of the great champions of literary modernism. To the Lighthouse is Woolf's second novel. To a very large number of readers, it's a masterpiece. To others, it's a bold experiment that failed. Let's figure it out for ourselves when we meet in May at the Portalis Wine Bar in Ballard in May to discuss this important work.
