Version Control with Git

Learn how to manage your project's code (Drupal or not) with Git. Cloning, branching, merging, committing, diffing, and rebasing.

Git is great for tracking changes to a single module/theme or for a whole website.

James Gifford will be leading this non-Drupal-centric presentation on git essentials.

We'll also discuss using Git to help with reviewing and submitting patches -- as well as maintaining modules or themes -- on

My apologizes for RSVPing and then not showing. My Saturday totally changed course and i wasn't able to reel it back in. But i'm definitely looking forward to looking into James' presentation.

Well, the presentation itself is here:

I'll be updating it with more info from the Cleveland Linux User group git meeting - I'll be covering some Git hooks, rebasing and other more "advanced" stuff.

Hey all. A rehearsal for a Saturday night performance I'm in got rescheduled smack-dab on our meeting time. I'm sorry and disappointed to miss this, but I know we have enough oft-comers to set up, that our presenter is well prepared, and that there's plenty of experience to go around and keep the discussion rolling. I'll keep y'all posted.

@Jeff It's actually covering about what I'll be covering - so they'll just have reinforcement from what I'm doing. :)

This is a great opportunity to invite your non-Drupal (but web/software-savvy) friends to a Drupal Meetup!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
