Site Showcase

(This meetup is not on the normal first Saturday of the month, as that's 4th-of-July weekend.)

Showcase your Drupal site.

Step up to the projector for a ~5-10 minute* show-and-tell highlighting your latest Drupal project, (complete or in-progress.) Tell us how you built it, what's novel, what took a lot of work, where you're going with it, where you could use help, etc...

No site too small or developer too newbie, provided you're showing a Drupal site you had a hand in making

This is a great opportunity if you:

  • don't feel ready to give a meeting-long talk,
  • have a site you're looking for help with, or
  • want to show off your latest handiwork.

That's you, right?

Leave a comment with your RSVP to indicate you'd like to share.

One site per person.

* We'll decide actual presentation length (and Q&A/feedback time) based on the number of presenters. Time limits will be gently enforced.

Join or login to comment.

I really enjoyed seeing and learning how others are using Drupal. Some very cool ideas and implementations. I almost wanted to keep it going longer. Hope we have another meetup like this later on this year to see others' work and updates for some.

The Site Survey was a fantastic idea and a great chance to see what other Drupalists in the Cleveland area are working on. I was highly impressed with their skills and creativity.

Really enjoyed seeing what others in the group are working on and was grateful for the mind expansion. It's helpful seeing how others approach real-world scenarios and learning about the tools they use. I'd like to see this become a regularly-occurring feature somehow. Perhaps we could have 1 or 2 folks do a "showcase" at the end of the regular meetups or something.

Great job to all who shared. It was nice to get a glimpse at what others are working on. Thanks to everyone who participated!

I really enjoyed meeting the members in the group. Their individual sharings were interesting - for me just getting started, I was a little bit overwhelmed. I just need to spend more time with it. I think I have the overall concepts down. I do understand what the purpose of this sharing was.

In future sharings, maybe we should allow more time and have fewer presenters. A specific topic area, like the next meeting, would be more helpful to me.

The site show case was a great idea. It was good to see how others implemented certain techniques and modules using Drupal. Hopefully we'll do it again.

I count about 6. Please update your RSVP to indicate you're presenting if you haven't. Figure about 10 minutes per person with time for laptop switching if you want.

I might need to use my own computer. Site I'm sharing is just local so far. But perhaps I'll spawn a copy on the internet this week.

To save transition time, we'll use one computer for all presentations.

If you'd need something other than a web browser, (or really need to you use your own computer,) please let me know.
