Are you taking action or keeping busy?

As entrepreneurs, we are often caught in a crossfire of busy work and fail to make certiain we do what we need to do to generate the cashflow needed in our business. this is expspecially true for those who work alone as the sole owner and employee in their business. Whether working in a home-based business or a traditional office building, getting and keeping customers is what will help create the needed cashflow for any business.

Unfortunately we can get trapped building a busyness rather than taking the real action that is needed to get us in front of the prospects, so we can sell our products and services. Keep in mind a sale will not magically happen. Rather you have to be proactive in your efforts and make things happen. Make sales your #1 priority and you will see your business prosper and grow!

TIP - Underestimate neither your own abilities nor the power of investing effort over time. Just make sure the application of your abilities and your effort is NOT busy work, but rather real action that puts you in front of your prospects.

Something to think about...

Plant seeds everywhere you go... and remember, you must first sow the seed before you can ever expect to harvest the crop.

Two things to think about today...

1) Do NOT procrastinate on the actions you know you need to take today.

2) Do you know what actions are the most important for you to take within your business so you guarantee growth and profits?

I had a client contact me yesterday that has been struggling to build his business. He has very few sales and is contantly talking about no time to get anything done. His challenge is similar to most entrepreneurs, where he keeps busy from day to day, but as a one-person business, he fails to get the most important job done - prospecting and selling.

Business does not magically grow, and just like my client, you have to get out of your comfort zone and make sure you take consistent action to generate sales. This means doing the necessary marketing actions that generate the steady flow of interested prospects and then taking action in prospecting those contacts to schedule appointments so you can present and sell your products or services.

TIP - Get 2+ people a day to raise their hand and ask for more information from you and you will have 60 new interested prospects a month. This will translate to 6 new customers (if you close only 10%).
