Hey, I'd be up for meeting Saturday.
I plan on doing the first week or two in several of the classes and then (hopefully) narrow down to one or two that I have time to work through. I like the idea of presentations though, we got close to that sometimes last semester but we might benefit from making that process a bit more formal.
Who is the intended audience for the film/stream? I'm not opposed to the idea, but I'm trying to wrap my head around the benefit.
I'd like to find an interesting project to work on. I know you're (Timmy) doing some cool stuff that will likely apply to several of the upcoming classes. Extending some of that could be interesting. I'm open to other ideas as well.

How's everybody feel about meeting this Sat to talk high level about
the upcoming semester?
I think i settled on taking (dipping my toes in):
- Probabilistic Graphical Models
- Model Thinking
- Information Theory
- Human-Computer Interaction
I imagine we can use our time this semester to teach each other
whatever we're learning -- think short 15-30min presentations.
Also thinking it would be cool to film/stream our meetings??
And perhaps we can find an interesting project to work on??
Looking forward to another semester of geek banter and big, cool ideas.
