Hey Kevin

My driving/motivating thought is education is changing -- Stanford's
free classes, and what we're doing every Sat. is a great example

I know this is kinda crazy -- but we can imagine ourselves as a
local/virtual schoolhouse

I'm thinking the filming/streaming will have a few benefits in this
context -- it may encourage other local 'students' to join us -- and
it'll encourage people to put more effort into their little
presentations -- i know i'll try to prepare a little more, knowing
everything i say is recorded and saved for eternity

As far as the project -- just throwing this out there -- maybe we can
focus on building out a system/process that helps local folks like us
learn -- ie, formalize/run with the newage virtual/local schoolhouse
idea
