The New York times proclaims that it is one of the country's best repertory movie theaters. Founded in 1986, the alternative film theater shows art, independent and foreign films as well as revived classics.

My first time seeing shorts - I enjoyed the variety! And the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. I'd never been there and they were very hospitable.

Make sure you have directions to the restaurant. Easiest way is from MLK to Lakeshore Blvd. It is about a 10 minute drive.

I would say the best way there from Cinémathèque would be to take East Blvd. north, get on MLK Blvd. at the traffic circle, and head north until it ends at Lake Shore Blvd.
Take Lake Shore east for about 2 miles, and turn left on Bratenahl Place (actually an extension of Eddy Road).
