The Bishop's Wife-Capital Theatre/Latitude 41

Ill be Inside, on the Right side of the Lobby standing at a pillar.

Cary Grant, David Niven and Loretta Young-Classic Hollywood at its finest. DO I really need to say more? Just in case I do I'll add there is a all-star team of Golden Age of Hollywood Character Actors wandering through the film.  Frankly Monty Woolley makes everything better. Cinematography Legend Greg Toland adds his skills to the movie, and Robert Sherwood, Billy Wilder and Charles Brackett all had a hand in the script. Probably why it got a Best Picture Nod among its 6 Oscar Nominations.

I love the way Niven is so clearly suspicious of Grant, Angel or Not.

Bishop Henry Brougham (Niven), troubled with funding the building of a new cathedral, prays for divine guidance. His plea is seemingly answered by a suave angel named Dudley (Grant), who reveals his identity only to the clergyman.

However, Dudley's mission is not to help with the construction of the cathedral. He is there to guide Henry and the people around him.

Doesn't sound like anything could go wrong does it?

I enjoyed this: Interesting "special effects," and I wish everyone could hear the bishop's sermon at the end.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
