Dancing in the Woods with MorrisonDance / Nature Center at Shaker Lakes

Hi everyone,

As many of you may know, I am on the Board of the Shaker Arts Council.  While there is no movie involved, I know that most of us do more than just movies.  I hope some of you may want to join me and see your fellow members in a different light.

What would be a better way to spend an evening than seeing contemporary dance while enjoying nature? This world premiere by MorrisonDance includes environmentally-themed improvisational vignettes performed in the natural surroundings of the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes.

After witnessing a stunning entry on the boardwalk overlooking a marsh, guests will stroll through beautiful trails to catch glimpses of “dance conversations” featuring wood nymphs, masked dancers, and other interesting characters.  Visit www.morrisondance.com.

If you have never been to the Nature Center, it is a great place just to walk around.  Feel free to come before 7:00 to enjoy their boardwalk trails. and refreshments as food and wine / beer is included with your admission.

Tickets are $30 per person to visit this cool venue, which includes a reception of beer/wine/soft drinks and light h'ordeurves beginning at 7:00 pm. The performance begins at 7:45 pm.

This sounds like something I would love but, unfortunately, have a prior commitment that evening.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
