Django Unchained--synopsis
Set in the South two years before the Civil War, Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago. Django and Schultz's search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), the proprietor of "Candyland," an infamous plantation. Exploring the compound under false pretenses, Django and Schultz arouse the suspicion of Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson), Candie's trusted house slave. -- (C) Weinstein

Tips for improving the restaurant experience:

Let us know your dinner plans when you RSVP so that we can either save you a seat at the "Movie Group" table or plan to meet you at the movie.
Print out a map or enter the restaurant address in you GPS ahead of time.

We can't always split the checks so please bring CASH to pay for your meal. If you don't see us when you walk in, ask to sit with the "Movie Group".

The $5.00 yearly fee (or $1.50 for one movie)
goes toward charges incurred for using the MeetUp website. You can access PayPal (see link in left hand column) or pay you free to the Organizer at the event.

In the world of Independent films, it is recommended that you check back a few days before the event to make sure the movie, restaurant, location or time has not changed.

Hope to see you there!

Was unflinching in showing the despicable ugliness of slavery. However, the blood and gore was too much for me.
