Hi everyone,

We all know about the Cleveland International Film Festival, however, there is a much smaller fest that is dedicated just to Ohio Independent films. It has been around for almost 10 years but has been under the radar much of that time. http://www.ohiofilms.com/blog/2

Do No Harm is a documentary on a hospital in Georgia where sub-standard practices are performed on uninsured patients. The director will be attending and we are trying to get her to join us afterward. We will be getting a special movie rate. Hope to see you there.

Other movies in our future...

Looking for Eric - Wednesday. While a story about a soccer team may not be all that interesting to some, as is always the case with these type of films, there is more about the story than the subject line. A few years back, we saw "King of Kong" (DO RENT IT) about a Donkey Kong competition that a few of us still reminisce about.

Mid August Lunch - I saw this great "slice of life" film. Don't miss it.

All movies have a fee: of $1.50 or $5 for all of 2010. You can pay by paypal or give it to the organizer.

I am still looking for more assistants to help with the movies or dinners. They don't take that much time, but sometimes I want people with fresh perspectives to come up with ideas on movies and places to eat.

Just drop me a line if you might be willing to help out. Everyone will appreciate your contribution.

See you at a movie soon.... JIm
