Moonrise Kingdom a week from Tuesday

Hi everyone,
Bernie turned out to be a decent film.  It is a true story and I would recommend checking it out.  Fortunately, "The Last Day on Earth" was not a true story or ... well I wouldn't be sending you this email and you wouldn't be hear to read it.  Smile emoticon
Tomorrow night, the group will be seeing a true story about women at the turn of the century who were treated with ... instruments of pleasure to combat their moods.  While not for everyone, this group has never shied away from unique storylines.  Hope you can make it this Tuesday.
It is coming up Saturday but the only event publicized is sold out.  Feel free to attend the movie and find others who may be interested in going out afterward.
The "It" movie getting a lot of attention outside the blockbusters is a small film about going to camp in the 60's.  Even if you weren't around or can't relate to all the events of that time, it is a great slice of life about growing up.  Just for variety, we will be meeting at Valley View ahead of time followed by Yours Truly afterward.  If you know someone who is afraid of a non-Hollywood movie, this is a good one to take them to.  It should be quite enjoyable.  It starts around 6:20 the Tuesday before July 4th.
Still looking for someone who might be interested in organizing an event at one or both of these festivals taking place this summer.
JUNE 19-JULY 31, 2012 - Foreign Film Cultural Journeys at University Heights library.  They take place on Tuesdays at 6 pm.  They are free.
JULY 25-AUGUST 19, 2012 - Cinema at the Square at Playhouse Square.  Come see the classic films on the big screen.
If any of these events look interesting to you, let me know and I can get you squared away to schedule one or more films.
Also, check this link for a list of all film Festivals and movie organizations in town (under menu option "Pages")
If you have already paid, thank you very much and no need to look further.
Otherwise, your dues of $5.00 are very important in  order for us to host directors coming into town and pay for the website.  Please select the link or pay your organizer AT THE NEXT GROUP EVENT if you haven't already.
