: Lemon Tree: Cedar Lee Theater / Anatolia Cafe and The Secret of the Grain/Grotto Wine Bar Shaker Square

Hi everyone

Welcome to new members:

We are verging on 500 members. We will see how hits the lucky number.

Next Sunday, we will be sing Secret of the Grain won the French Oscar last year. It is about a multi-generational family and is not to be missed. Plus, any movie that ends up at a new wine bar sounds like a winner to me.

The following Tuesday after that is Lemon Tree which promises to be a movie that we will have a long conversation afterward. I really liked the director's last movie "Syria Bride" because it talked about the absurdity of boundaries that was preventing a Jewish woman from marrying a Syrian. It was almost humorous in parts. In this movie, what is more important, family lemon trees or protection from terrorists (if that is even a fair comparison).

When: May 19,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Anatolia cafe
2270 Lee Road
Cleveland, OH 44118

On another note, we will not be issuing Separate checks anymore. While it is certainly convenient, processing that many checks slows the checkout process that people are missing the first part of the movie. We will be having the restaurante consolidating 2 or 3 people on one check.

It is also important to bring cash so that we can get to the movie quicker.

Lastly, this weekend is the time to see Cherry Blossoms at the Cinemateque. You won't be disappointed.

See you at Taste and Hunger this Wednesday.
