Hi everyone,

A Prophet, a nominee for Best Foreign Language film, is our next movie selection. It rates a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and promises to be quite good. It is a long film, so we will be seeing it next Sunday, April 11.

There was also a post by a number of you to see Vincere (Mussolini film). I am working with Kristi (the original Idea poster) to see if we can get an event together to see it in the next 2 weeks. If anyone else is interested in helping plan the event, let me know.

Other items of note.

Whole Foods is sponsoring a "Take Back our Plate" series with alternating movies at Cleveland Cinemas in Cleveland and the Lakewood Public Library. If anyone wants to schedule one for the group, let me know.

Other movie events:

APRIL 3-August 14 - Monthly Saturday night Vintage Hitchcock movies at Lakewood library

APRIL 7,8,14,15 - Italian Film Festival at Case Western Strosacker Auditorium

APRIL 9-10 - Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour at Allen Theater

APRIL 14,18,21,25 - Canton Jewish film Festival at the Canton Palace Theater

Also, if you haven't already, please pay your fees online at Paypal or give the donation in cash to one of the organizers. It is $5/year or $1.50 per movie. Your first time visit to the group is free of charge.

Hope to see you at A Prophet and Vincere. Take care. Movie details are below:

When: Sunday, April 11,[masked]:30 PM

Cedar Lee Theater
2163 Lee Road
Cleveland Heights, OH 44118

Fee: $1.50 or $5 for 2010

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Maybe" as well as "Yes".)
