Hi everyone,

We are already getting into holiday season and the good movies keep coming.

Two events coming up in the next week.

Inside Job. This should be required viewing for anyone going into business or wall street. It avoids most of the pitfalls of documentaries that try to convince you of their opinion based on emotional appeal. Except for a few places, this movie is all fact. I saw it already but I will plan on being there at the discussion. (Note that even though it avoids tugging at the heart, it still will leave you incensed about how business and our government works.)

On Sunday, we will be doing a brunch movie at the Capitol theater. Calvin, who knows quite a bit about classic films, says Charade is one of his all time favorites. I have never seen it, so I am looking forward to this.

I am still looking for a few more organizers. All I ask is that you put together one movie event every 4-6 weeks. Also, I could use some assistant organizers to help out on making dinner reservations, confirming things, etc. Please let me know.

Finally, on the Saturday after T Day, we will be seeing a French film about the resistance in WWII. I think it is enriching to see how other countries view themselves in historic events. While it follows the same idea as Inglorious Bastards, I am sure there will be plenty of thought to take away. Hope to see you there.
