We both really enjoyed meeting you guys, and look forward to many more. While we were at Cedar Lee, my wife noticed a poster for another film: Sholem Aleykhem - :Laughing in the Darkness. We saw it today, a wonderful movie about the Yiddish writer Sholom Aleykhem. A documentary but a post Ken Burns documentary which really brought him, his times and his characters to life, as well as unpacking the pathos and profundity in what at first reading might seem a slight humoresque. Since the theater has already eliminated the evening showing, I assume it will soon be taken off the marquee. No time to organize a meet-up, but I encourage everyone to get there asap and see it while you can. (Cedar Lee Theater, 2:10[?] and 4:30).
