The Directors Guild and SAG Awards

The Directors Guild Awards are tomorrow night. This is a great prognosticator for who will likely take home the Best Director Oscar® and, often consequently, Best Fiim. Look for Hazanavicius to win this one. The Artist already won the Producers Guild Award.

Feature film nominees are:
Woody Allen, Midnight in Paris
David Fincher, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
Michel Hazanavicius, The Artist
Alexander Payne, The Descendants
Martin Scorese, Hugo

Sunday night's SAG Awards should be a good sign as to who will win the acting Oscars.

Hazanavicius did win. I would now be shocked if both he and The Artist did not win their respective Oscars.
