...In which the Big Bang meets the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
*Note- the lecture itself starts at 7:30pm, but we made the meetup 6:45pm so that everyone arrives early to get a seat & have an easy time parking. Exact arrival time is up to you- but these things have been very well attended!
Join us for another fascinating (and free!) lecture hosted by the Astronomy Department at Baldwin Wallace College. The lecture is titled "The Large Hadron Collider: Creating the Big Bang in a Test Tube" and will be presented by Dr. Edwin Meyer, Chair of the Baldwin Wallace University department of Physics and Astronomy.
The Burrell Observatory will be open for viewing if weather permits...
See you there!
