Shed a few ounces of Winter poundage with us on a hike in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We'll be taking the Happy Days/Ledges/Pines Trail- the three trails combine for a scenic 4.3 mile loop.
The trail is officially rated "moderate, with difficult sections"... the "difficult" part probably amounts to a few places with steps. It has also been called "hilly", but the elevation gain is minimal.
Last March, we entered a warm & dry spell at mid-month, but good hiking shoes are essential since we don't know what we'll encounter this year.
There are many interesting stops along this loop trail... rock formations, etc.
Note- parking is across Rt. 303 from the Happy Days Lodge.
"Linner" after the hike will be at Marcelita's Mexican Restaurant in Hudson:
See you there! :)
