Love, love, love this restaurant - thanks, Suzy! Of course we had the same situation we've had in the past....one loooooong table and it was really hard to mingle, so we stuck to our groups wherever we were sitting. Of course, everyone is great, so it really didn't matter where you sat! :)

Great conversation and the food was yummy. It was a pleasure to meet Isay and it was great to see Chaz again!

would have been better if everybody got their meals at the same time, and if I was able to hear everybody better. But it was fun to see you all, even if I didn't get a chance to have much conversation.

Btw, the Oak Barrel in Valley View (in the same plaza as the Cinemark) is ah-mazing. I believe that restaurant is owned or co-owned by the same people who run/own Deagan's in Lakewood. The menu's have some similarities. Anyway, if we see a film there (a very central location - Valley View) Oak Barrel is a prime choice. Food is excellent and service was very attentive.

I would suggest the Rail which is a locally owned restaurant chain opening a new location in the North Olmsted mall: http://www.therailburger.com/locations/ They have ah-mazing burgers, shakes, and fries! They also have veggie options! They use local meat and produce. This place is the best!

Just wanted to note: Melt is one of the few restaurants to offer vegan cheese, and is probably a lot of people's first exposure to an alternative that takes them away from dairy. And meat too: they have vegan meat alternatives. They have also offered several 3-day vegan events with expanded vegan menus: http://meltbarandgril...

Too far for a meal. Everyone chow. I love Indian food. There's one in North Olmsted. Small & authentic.

Since we were just in North Olmsted for this past gala, I think we are either due to head east or middle? One suggestion would be here: http://www.tajindiapalacerestaurant.com/ the food here is excellent! They can accommodate a large group, too.

There are also several interesting spots inside Legacy Village. The Cheesecake Factory has excellent dinners, although it is pricey. We could do something really different and go to a Hibachi Japanese restaurant and have them cook our food in front of us :) Golden Dragon on Mayfield Road can easily accommodate big groups. it's like a cheaper version of Kumo in Parma. There are a lot more options, too!

Dale, yes I will make it another Guys & Gals...This one has not been announced yet and it will not be at Sweet Melissa's.Too early for me to think about it, but it most likely will be on Dec. 19th or 27 because I have to fast prior to a doctor's appointment on the 26th.
