Life: A Cosmic Story

Narrated by two-time Academy Award winner Jodie Foster, Life begins in a grove of towering redwoods. From there, the audience "shrinks" dramatically as it enters a single redwood leaf and then a cell, learning that despite their unique appearance, redwoods are composed of the same basic molecules as all other organisms on Earth. Our visitors will then launch on a journey through time, witnessing key events since the Big Bang that set the stage for life.

The museum (and University Circle in general) was more crowded than anticipated (and of course the parking lot was full). Next time for a similar meetup we'll schedule for 45 min early! :) Sorry so many were locked out or couldn't find parking. We missed "A Cosmic Story" but saw the 2pm "Bang (Yes that One)" program, it was good. Some of us roamed the museum as well, and then lurked in the cafe for quite awhile.

That's what happened to me. Five minutes late, no entry. Look forward to attending another event. This group finds good, enriching events. Steve Weiss

Unfortunately, on Sat. I'll be in the midst of an RX transition with patches. This will cause unnecessary
jostling & pain of my spine. Sorry guys. When will I be able to live pain free ?

Just a note that this is not a lecture, this is a movie that was made in 2010. It's being held in the Shafran Planetarium theater:

Sorry. After seeing that the $4 is -in addition- to general admission, I changed my mind. I still have to try to conserve my resources for a while. But still might be interested in joining y'all for linner. What time would that be?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
