Up the tree. Part two, the extended version.

This presentation will take us on a journey from our chemical roots to our present hominid state. We will follow the slow evolution of some of our main characteristics as they evolved through time. We will follow time through the strata as it is known by the scientific community. Showing that each characteristic evolved at a particular time on the geological time scale. Leaving very little room for doubting the "Theory of Evolution."

Great talk, Sam! And lots of fun (although loud) celebrating your birthday at Cozumel! :)

Yes it was loud Marni. But was it louder than us? Hmmm.

hey Sam thanks for the talk . It might have saved my life as the humongous limb that came off my oak tree fell right on my adirondack chairs where I have my glass of wine about that time. It now covers my whole front yard and my neighbor's drive

Thanks, Sam for the presentation. It was great! Sorry I didn't go to Cozumels after, but I still seem to be scrambling to find spare time. It was nice talking to Alida and a few others before I left; hope to meet more of you later---maybe at the Sunday Asembly if any of you are going there. I do have a Sunday hike to go to at 1pm in Brecksville, but am free until then.

Great presentation, Sam! I will continue to be perplexed about the "lineage" thing. It was great to see a number of new and first-time members there. Had fun at Cozumel!

I noticed in the link Alida sent (below) about the platypus that they still use the term "lineage"--The 3rd paragraph from the end talks about 2 separate lineages, so doesn't that mean it still is possible to trace evolutionary lineage? But I guess in the context it means through genomes.

I apologize for the date change. But it was in conflict with my work schedule. My flight does not come in until 3:30 PM. So there is no way I would have been able to make it on time. Thanks, I can't wait to see you all there.

I'll be going, will make sure I request off.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
