Thanks Tim and Mark for a great learning experience. I love to learn new things and this group is wonderful for that. Plus, there's no test afterward!

It was more engaging and interesting than I might have originally expected. Everyone involved did a good job. You definitely should get an A+ for that presentation. I hope there will be an encore sometime. And I look forward to getting more viewing time at Letha (sp?) House in future. I liked that last time we did that.

Thanks, Tim & Mark, for your time and research on this topic, and your efforts to present it in a manner that we could all comprehend. The entertaining bits were also appreciated. Great job!

Here is a news story about the galaxy M82, with a cool pic taken in infrared that really shows the "starburst" emission. It describes a bit more about the apparent "superluminal motion" at 4x the speed of light. We'll need a real astrophysicist for this one, I'm running back to my simple telescope... is the moon out tonight? Lol http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/04/100413202858.htm

I hope everyone enjoyed the presentation- on behalf of Tim, we had fun doing it! Very good audience participation :) It was a pleasure to meet the first-time attendees, and it was great to see some friends we hadn't seen in awhile. Dinner afterwards at Chammps was a good time as well.

Very entertaining, although I did not learn much, most of the material was made up of things I am already into. Still, it's the kind of thing I can watch over and over again, like the How the Earth Was Made series.. or The Universe series... A great presentation nonetheless!

I'll be giving kind of a modified version of my talk to CFI. Lots about amateur astronomy, along with a few surprises I may have up my sleeve!
