I wanted to let my fellow freethinkers know about an author visit by Austin Dacey, who recently wrote "The Secular Conscience" (Prometheus Books, 2008).  Austin will be at the Brecksville Library, 9089 Brecksville Road, on Sat., Apr. 12, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.  His book will be on sale that day and Austin will gladly sign copies.  The event is free and open to the public.
Austin is the Center For Inquiry's representative to the United Nations and a contributing editor for the Skeptical Inquirer and Free Inquiry magazines.  He co-authored "The Case For Humanism: An Introduction" in 2003 with Lewis Vaughn.  Austin is 35 and lives in New York City.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact me.
