Where in this discussion did anyone say we should "always believe the state" ? No one has said the "state would never lie to us." You have failed to provide convincing evidence and a convincing argument to accept that the government has lied to us in this instance. What you find as convincing is in fact not so. The conspiracy you want us to accept as having occurred is an extraordinary claim and it will require more convincing evidence than that which has been provided by any and all conspiracy theories thus far offered.
