I sent this to the Cleveland skeptics list and I figured I would share it here too.
So every year as part of my OGT reading intervention class I do a unit on critical thinking.
It's amazing that kids can be skeptical of outlandish claims on one hand and then so easily believe things as ridiculous as the hip-hop illuminati conspiracy on the other.
if you're not familiar with it you really should google it for laughs. It's a twisted jumble of seemingly random unrelated and unjustifiable claims.
Right now I'm looking for some kind of a cogent debunking of it online that I can share with my kids.
