Good article... but I'm not so keen on this "HumanLight" holiday, though it seems nice. This is the first I've heard of it.
 
My conviction is that Freethinkers should feel free to celebrate (or not celebrate) any holiday, in any way they wish. I don't really see a need for a separate holiday for the nonreligious (though Solstice makes some sense 'cause its directly tied to the natural world).
 
I don't give a hoot what whiny conservative Xtians say- Xmas has been a secular holiday for ages, and I've enjoyed celebrating it in traditional fashion.
