Good stuff- but I was wondering how long we have to wait for a total solar eclipse in our area? The last one I think was in 1970, although the annular eclipse of May 1994 was pretty darned cool.

On April 8, 2024 there will be an eclipse where the path of totality passes right over Cleveland- now watch it be cloudy & rainy that day :)


Total solar eclipse of August[masked] cuts a good swath across the U.S., but the path of totality passes just south of Ohio:
