LOL---says the priest in a church that has one of the longest histories of human atrocities. Hmm--only those on the fringe? So would he say the dark ages were just fringe Catholics acting up?

In fact, since history is not history, but a continuum, could we even say that the Catholic church is partly responsible for Muslim extremism since their crusades and inquistions set the stage for a deep and incurable divide between Muslims and the rest of the world?

Just a thought. This stage was set centuries ago.
