On one hand, makes me want to puke, but on the other, anyone can see these parallels even if they were not deliberate and even if Superman was created by Jews!
Neo in the MATRIZ trilogy was also a deliberate parallel to Jesus, at least in #3.

Let's face it. Christian preachers, looking for sermons will find parallels to Jesus in pretty much every hero or superhero story. 
Of course, they somehow miss the fact that the Jesus myth parallels many earlier hero myths: Osiris, Heracles, Achilles, Mythra, and more!
