And yet, Dubai is rich with outside money. I hope that people will grow a conscience and realize that a government influenced by this filthy religion (any filthy religion) automatically means human rights violation and it should not be financially supported.
Yes the pictures are stunning. The outreach to tourists commendable. But it's just a pig in earrings. Underneath, they are the same backwards ignorant worshippers of a woman-hating desert war god. I know there are people within that are trying to make changes. But it's always the same story---religious government equals human rights violations. And since it is in the name of GOD, it is most difficult to uproot. It means that citizens don't react the same. They just accept a lot of it because they have been indoctrinated and threatened with eternity not to upset the status quo.
Because of this, I have always been resolved never to travel to any place that has a religious government and that includes Texas.
As human beings, living in this so-called free and secular nation, we have the ability and the right to question, examine and dissect all things religious, all things political, all things philosophical, all things cultural, even all things scientific.
Any attempts to silence freethought will only make us think louder!
