Looking at this CATHOLIC'S comment, isn't this how the bibles were written?  Wait a few hundred years (or whatever timeframe) and "remember" all that happened in the past?  Hmmm...After reading this a few times, I wonder if he was trolling.

As a Catholic I believe in miracles but they do not appear on command. 

As far as miracles for sainthood, I am very suspicious. The Holy See does not have a good record of honesty and openness. If I see corruption in the place, I suspect that the canonization process is also corrupted. The payoff is to canonize a saint and then everything that saint did or said is absolutely correct and above question. That is especially true when the canonization takes place with the lifetime of people who knew and saw him. I would feel better if they waited a 100 years.
