What a great day for gaming. We had 19 gamers join us. Welcome to Cindy and Mike L. for visiting our group for the first time also. We had a 4 way tie for most winners today. Congrats for 2 wins go to Jenn H. , Jack D. Patrick, and Jon P. Jenn won Infinite City and her very first game of Brass. Jack won at Ticket to Ride and Kittens in the Blender. Jon P. won at Lords of Waterdeep and Race for the Galaxy, and Patrick for Castles of Burgundy and Ora & Labora. Also taking honors today were Mike L. for squeaking out a win in Power Grid Great Britain/Ireland, Ron T. for Guildhall, Mike G. for Ginkgopolis, and finally Mark R. for Hansa Teutonica. Lastly the team of Helene, Jack, Dave and Cindy won agains the collaborative game of Pandemic. Glad to see everyone. Lakewood Library is not available for gaming in March. Hope to see everyone again in April.

Are there any east siders willing to give me a ride there or back? (I live near Coventry) I can give you some gas money. If not I will probably get there around 13:30.

I'll be there and possibly up for brunch as well, I think.

Would it be possible for our group to get permission from the library branch manager to bring and consume water only?

    February 23, 2013

    • Bob K.

I don't think they will allow water either. They do have water fountains up front though. What can I say?

All interested! We will be brunching at Dianna's Deli at 1332 West 117 St. At 11:45 am on Sunday morning before gaming. Feel free to stop by before gaming. Looks like it is going to be a great crowd again tomorrow. Looking forward to a great day of gaming.

    Are we "brunching" anywhere beforehand?

    February 18, 2013

    • Patrick

Jenn and I have been talking "on the side"; I still don't know if brunch is happening or not, (I would be in if it is, but we'll be at Peace, Love, and Little Donuts if it isn't), but after gaming, we're going to Malley's Chocolates in Lakewood for a VERY sweet bonus round in the form of eating ice cream. All are welcome to join us. :)
