Medina Library Gaming

This Meetup repeats the first Saturday of each month.

This is an official Medina Library program which will be advertised in the library newsletter and on signage in the library.

This is open to all gamers of all experience levels, so grab some games and come join us for a full day of gaming from 10:00am to 5:00pm.  New to gaming?  That's ok!  We love to teach new games to new people!

We will be meeting for breakfast beforehand at 9:00am.  That is open to anyone who wants to attend.  Please reply in the comments below if you plan on coming to breakfast so we get a big enough table!  Breakfast will be at Eli's Kitchen, 115 Public Square (across the square from the library, walking distance if the weather is nice.)

I'm happy for you guys that this was so well-attended, but unfortunately it doesn't leave any room for us late-comers who don't know anybody. :( If I can get up early enough, I'll play with you next time.

Sorry about that Bob. Next time ask for me. There is always room for more gamers.

No worries, I'm just super shy, and I didn't want to interrupt anyone's game. I'll just have to get up earlier next time, so that it's not an issue. Been looking at the pictures you guys have been posting of the games you played, so I can do some research of my own. :)

This is shaping up to be a good one! Anyone up for some Terra Mystica? I would also love to play any of the Uwe Harvest games (Agricola, Le Havre, Ora et Labora, Loyang).

Is anyone interested in doing some after hours gaming? I live 10 minutes from the library and could host 10 - 12 people if anyone would like to keep gaming after 5.

I probably won't be there at 10 sharp, because I work nights and 10am is super early for me. But I fully plan on showing up at some point.

This is my first one of these, and I'm still kind of a board gaming novice, but is there anything I should bring?

    June 29, 2013

    • Michael

Hi Bob, You don't have to bring anything, but feel free to bring your favorite game. Everyone seems to bring games, but its not required.

I work nights as well. Haven't had a chance to go in a while, but I'll be there this week. Look forward to meeting another exhausted player.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
