Saturday Night Gaming... and Beer!

Everyone is welcome to come to The BottleHouse in Cleveland Heights, near Cedar and Lee Roads, next to Elgin Furniture, for some fun gaming... and beer... and Ginger Beer!

This place, as you can guess, is a microbrewery that serves tasty beers and delicious food! It also SCREAMS gaming with their picnic tables and their hoard of board games available to play. You're invited to bring board games as well. If you, somehow, don't want to play board games, there are some pinball games you can play as well.

Parking is available either on the streets, or you can park in the parking lot behind the building. All parking is free EXCEPT right in front of the building; they have meters effective until 6pm.

I didn't like the fact that a band began to play at 8:30ish. I do like bands, and that was a decent one, but when I'm playing games, I like to be able to hear what's going on in my game without _aving_ to yell at the top of my lungs ;) Also, they dimn the loghting so quickley. It makes it difficult to see that colors in a color based game scheme (pieces, monies. etc) - not to mention, my pix don't even really come out anymore.

Despite the above, I had a fun time playing Acquire and Space Cadets (dice version) and meeting some new peeps too :)

Great times at The Bottlehouse last night! Got a record for that location with 21! I wound up playing Risk for most of the night. Also noticed on the table, amongst others, was Love Letter, Acquire, Space Cadets: Dice Duel, Choas In The Old World, Bohnanza, and Tsuro.

Will arrive about 7. Would like to play TEAM Ticket to Ride if we can get 6 players. Otherwise traditional Catan might be good. Of course, with all my games come a few "house rules" that (I think) improve play and scoring.

What are some of your house rules?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
