Great working list Lazlo!

Here are some of my "faves:
Ticket to Ride - Ok - Buy because women enjoy it too. *silly giggles*
Lords of Waterdeep - A soulless game - Not to buy. *gregorious laughter!*

Ginkgopolis - I do not know - Need to play more to decide.
--I quite agree. Once was not enough for me to decide either way.
Pandemic - I do not like it. - Not to buy.
--I think I ruined that one for you. Sorry. Try it again with another group, if you haven't already.
Airlines of Europe - Ok - Buy Steam instead of this one. ...Steam - Very good game - Buy
-- Do you mean Age of Steam? I still need to try this one.
Elder Sign - Ok - Not to buy I own the more epic one, Arkham Horror
--I mostly agree with you on this one. Arhham, being more complex, is a better game.

You might enjoy Infinite City. It _can be_ a "very evil" game if you get the right cards - which takes a bit of luck. Or, you vcould just try to doninate "the board" - which has it own set of fun and chalenges.

No, Pandemic is a good game, just I do not like it somehow does not feel cool. For me "Battlestar Gallactica" feels very cool...

No Age of Steam is too complex and people enter into analysis paralysis.
The more streamlined version form Martin Wallace, Steam

Elder Sign - Ok - Not to buy I own the more epic one, Arkham Horror
--I mostly agree with you on this one. Arhham, being more complex, is a better game.
Something for something, Epic and Complex Vs Streamlined and more accessible.

You might enjoy Infinite City. It _can be_ a "very evil" game if you get the right cards - which takes a bit of luck. Or, you could just try to dominate "the board" - which has it own set of fun and challenges.
I will keep this in mind. smile

re: Race for the Galaxy: I feel the same way about the cards! Mike G introduced me instead to San Juan - same mechanic, different them - which we like a lot.

I second the Infinite City recommendation.

Hi Lazlo!

Sorry we will be missing you in the future--maybe someday you can come back and visit us again! It was great playing with you.

I like how many of your ratings for good games also includes the adjective "nasty"! Great system! Instead of thumbs up or thumbs down, it's "nasty" or "not nasty"? I guess that speaks to some of your game preferences--a fan of direct conflict and hidden agendas! ...did you ever try Shadows Over Camelot?

Also, for Nexus Ops--I'm assuming you meant offensive in the sense of needing to attack your opponents--but I have heard there are some smelliness issues with the first edition of the game (though the glow-light figures might be work the discomfort)...

Anyway, be well, and game on!

Christian
