A group for intelligent girls (women?) to connect and make plans. This meetup is run as a group effort - we look to our members to share the opportunity (and burden) of planning events.

As our calendar of past meetups shows - we are interested in all types of cultural events: from classic movies, live music, theatre and dance to museums, book signings, walking tours and lectures. We've also gone hiking, ventured to the zoo, watched sporting events, and enjoyed brunches and dinners at some great NYC restaurants.

The vast majority of our members are in their late 20s to early 40s and are predominantly well educated professionals in various fields.

WE ACCEPT NEW MEMBERS ON A VERY LIMITED BASIS (approx 5 to 15 per month) in an effort to maintain some core cohesiveness and manageability due to the smaller size of many of our events.

**  You must fill out a complete profile with identifiable photo to be considered and abide by the group policies once a member.  Please be thoughtful in answering the profile questions - if we can't get a sense of who you are and what you'd like to contribute, how can we truly know if you'd be a good fit? Please see our our group policies for more information.

We're not trying to be harsh with these policies - they really help us keep things running smoothly for all of our members, especially since we have many different event organizers and hosts.
