We LOVE TO CLIMB A LOT and are OPEN TO ALL AWESOME and SAFE climbers of ALL LEVELS. "The best climber is the one having the most fun." -Alex Lowe
We are run by climbers and entirely volunteer run. Our events include indoor/outdoor rock climbing sessions, socials, instructional training by ACMG guides, climbing skills practice and mentorship, trail/access work and charity projects. In the past 4 years, we organized the annual Christmas fundraiser for a selected charity and so far we have done 5 and raised $15174. We are also a member club of the Federation of Mountain Club BC (FMCBC) (a registered charity) to advocate for safe, self-propelled activities and the protection of BC’s backcountry. Join our Facebook Page, Group and Website.
How often do we climb? Generally, we camp every weekend for summer rock climbing (June-October) and camp/motel every weekend for winter ice climbing (December-March) plus many socials, house parties, trips, etc. Check out latest events at: www.vrcg.ca/calendar/
