Baltimore crew, I am canceling our practice as most folks will be arriving late to Baltimore. I also don't want anyone to rush and still get stuck in the traffic. See y'all at Wingate or at the venue. Have a safe trip!

For food safety ,we need to keep cold cut chicken meat in the cooler at all time,(May only be on the table just a very short time during lunch.)if you don't see it on the table, just feel free to help yourself in the green cooler right under the serving table. You will find couple boxes there.

It would nice if someone can bring mixed vegetables and fruits.

Hey all, does anyone have room to take a tent up to Baltimore? I have room, but was trying to make room for another rider in my car.

    June 16

    • Brian T.

Thanks Jonathan. I will bring it and see if it fits. This sounds dumb, but I also forgot I could put it on my roof rack----so that is another back up plan.

      June 16

    • Mylene C.

I have room too if you need us to take it.

      June 16

  • Brian T.

I am not sure yet what time I will get out of town---shooting for noon at the latest. I will also have room in my car for two others. Will know my schedule better the first of next week.

Good Day Team, we have a practice slot at 6 p.m. in Baltimore on Fri, 20 Jun. Again, we need to have at least 15 paddlers present to have a safe practice in the channel. Email me, cc Dr Chen and Brian Tarle, ASAP, if you are going to make it. Thanks.

    June 9

  • Stephanie N.

Ill be there!!! If anyone wants to carpool, we can take my car, or I can be a + 1???

    June 10

  • Kim

    CDBA crew,

The Baltimore race fee per person is $33.00. As for a practice, due to the faster current, we really need at least 15 people in order to have a "Safe" practice. I'll check and see if a 6:00 p.m. practice is available. You guys can tell me if you can make that time or not.
    Thanks.

OK, Baltimore Crew, We'll practice with a potential Baltimore seating chart starting this Saturday. I will do the line-up tomorrow. Btw, before you make your hotel reservation, wait for Gilbert's posting of the hotel he has located for the team--it's not the Ritz-Carlton (saving that for a future Philly trip perhaps, hint, hint) but it doesn't cost both arms and legs either. Lord knows we'll be needing our arms and legs on race day. However, it's comfortable and serves our purpose. In the meantime, go ahead and pay the race dues, here's the paypal link:

Days Inn Inner Harbor is $144 now. Please note there is a rain date. I won't reserve a hotel without refund until I know the weather is good on June 21th.

The traffic is always bad on I-95. A better way is I-77 and I-81. I am planning to stay somewhere in Mt Airy, or Frederic, about one hour from the venue. The hotels cost much less and I don't need to book ahead of the time.

    Just a thought.
