The time has come. My camera is going to get a bithday gift - a new wide angle lens.
I'm not an expert at photo equipment & brands at all, so if you know a bit more than me, I would be happy to listen to your comments.
While checking a new 10-24 f[masked] G and a bit older 12-24 f4.0 (they seem to be quite similar) I found tokina (AT - X 12-24 f4.0 - so like the 2nd nikon and AF 11-16mm f2.8 - so fast!) lenses which had pretty good critics. and some people praise more Tokina 11-16 than nikon 10-24!
I'm puzzled. if tokina is better than Nikon, why is it 300 euros cheaper than? question of branding? is it really better? which one to pick up?
