Those of you who have followed the success of my own business “Selling from the Heart” over the past year will know that this is exactly how I have grown my business – controversial it may be but I don’t “do” Social Media, my blogging is intermittent to say the least and I’ve never yet written a “sales page”. The truth is, while I know that online marketing works, being stuck at my computer all day just doesn't do it for me.
I have used speaking to groups, live and via webinar, as the main way that I have grown my business - from pretty much zero to what will be 6-figures this year (yes, I too used to read figures like that and be sceptical, but actually it really can happen that quickly when you get your strategies right).
And of course it's not all about the money - but the money IS a reflection of the number of people who I've impacted and made a difference to over the past 12 months while doing work that I love and feel I was born to do - and that makes me feel REALLY good!

* And if you feel excited about the idea of speaking but uncomfortable with the idea of selling to your audience I will give you a shift in the way you think about that – so you will leave actually excited at the idea of selling to an audience
Now, to be clear, I’m not talking about turning up and “Pitching” to people. I’m talking about giving your audience really great value, but also knowing how to structure your talk and your offer to get the most out of the evening – after all if you can’t encourage people to invest in working with you how are you ever going to be able to make a difference?
