Howdy all!

We've finished the first phase of the classes. So now we are moving on to the next series. As part of that we've decided it would be good to work on either individual projects and programs or a single large project and program for the class. This way we can work with code in a real environment and see live examples rather than imagined examples we've created.

Thus I'm asking for suggestions. Do you have a program you would like to see written? Are you needing an application? The more suggestions we have the better. So far two suggestions:

1. A HTML outputter like CheapA$$CMS. This would allow data to be entered in an ISAM data file for web page content. Upon interaction with the user (a menu option) the data would be combined with an html template (also possibly stored in an ISAM data structure) to create .html files. This could be on a page by page basis, all pages, all pages from a certain author, all pages from a certain date etc, or specific "checked" pages...

2. A program to search google for specific topics (will require the google API) and track changes over time. So we could input to find certain pages from a certain time, place and so on, about a specific topic.

3. A text RPG game?

4. An IRC chat program.

Any additional suggestions are welcome...
