Hello, Join us again, this time for week 1 of CS50x.

This is an informal meetup where members can talk about the course material, lecture notes, setting up the development environment, asking questions about course material or problem sets...

We meet biweekly.

We previously covered week 0. This time we will be covering week 1 materials. If there are any questions about the course or materials before the meetup, please PM me or list them here and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks!

I believe these are the same lectures for Fall 2014. These are the public links:

Week 1 Lecture videos

Week 1 problem set (standard).

Feel free to bring the hacker edition problem sets too.

UPDATE: The meeting will now be at the Schwarzman Building on 42nd st (Library with the lions!). There is wifi and power outlets but please charge up your laptops before hand just in case.

We'll be meeting on the SECOND FLOOR.

I don't want to complicate things - lets just stick to the library and see how it works out. We can always change the meeting location for the next meetup if this doesn't work work out. See you tomorrow.

The Rose Reading Room may be tough since talking is not allowed; however, there is a study hall on the 2nd floor that allows talking. I suggest that the group meets on the front steps at 12:45 and head to second floor to secure the study hall before it fills up.

    March 6, 2014

    • Sara M.

I might be half an hour late. Is it ok?

    March 6, 2014

    • Sara M.

Yes, however, there may or may not be a seat nearby our study group. The space is first come, first seats.

I know we are on week 1 but I wanted to share my scratch game with everyone from week 0. I'm interested in seeing what others had made.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
