Spam or not, there is nothing wrong with these kind of boot camps. I have been to a few boot camps myself though, not an IOS one specifically. Just make sure you have the prerequisite knowledge to fully benefit from the course. If you are mentioning something like Treehouse as a comparison, I would say perhaps it is a bit early yet for you. I always got the most out of bootcamps, seminars, workshops where I already had a basic understanding of the topic. Keep learning... for free (!) else where. Then circle back when you have a better foundation and know how to ask better questions.

For example, did you know Stanford has a free intro IOS course on iTunes that many professional IOS developers swear by:

A lot of my buddies say if you can get through that you will have a great foundation.

Code school (anyone who knows me knows I love this site) has an excellent free course as well:

Also, nothing wrong with Treehouse.

and finally, I will say that it is always nice to learn from other people, especially in the beginning! So I get that bootcamps are fun, but save your money for when you can get the most out of them.

Just my 2 cents...

Ok. I know this is spam but i need to ask has anyone done this or anything like it? If so what were the results coming out of it? Was it worth the time and money or going to Treehouse a better path?

Just curious.

Same spam from multiple mailing lists... Maybe send me one more and I'll be convinced.  Is that the plan?

Read the Blog Posting about the iPhone Boot Camp Experience

The opportunities for iPhone applications developers has never been better. Apple has paid out over 5 billion dollars to developers with App in the iPhone app store. iPhone developers' work-for-hire is the highest paid in the software industry.

The iPhone Boot Camps are arguably the most affordable and experienced iPhone application development workshops. Our rates are often half the price of other workshops and our trainers the most experienced in the field, with apps in the top ten in the iPhone store and/or authors of popular books on iPhone development. Since 2008 we have trained over 1,000 developers in over 60 small workshops.

Money Back Guarantee

We are the only iPhone workshop that offers a money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the workshop after the first day we offer a full refund, no questions asked. Keep in mind that any developers considering the workshop should have a basic knowledge of object oriented programming or the workshop will be extremely challenging.
