Re: [codecrewny] Intro JavaScript workshop this weekend

Should start a Khan Academy-like site to make knowledge accessible to more... recording sessions and then make it available part free and part (advanced) marketed via subscription model a-là Netflix (and support donations perhaps?) that would be so low compared to the rest that it will be a virtually negligible expense... well... negligible as long there'll be enough content to make it worthwhile that is. Just an idea thrown out there ;)

Cheers!

Andy and Trevor were great on Sunday at the JavaScript study group. I'll be taking the workshop over the weekend. Hope to see you guys there. :)

Hey Guys,

Definitely try to attend this workshop if you can. I can say, from experience, that Andy is an awesome instructor and an overall JavaScript ninja. He taught an excellent two-part workshop on JavaScript, for my apprentice class at GA, that really helped me wrap my head around the language.

Also, for you guys that are interested in learning more about Node.js be sure to check out the workshops Andy is teaching through NodeLingo: http://www.nodelingo.com/#upcoming

Best,
Jamal

Hey guys -- it was great meeting some of you this weekend @ Alley. Thanks @Felicia and @Jamal for hosting us! For those of you brand-new to JavaScript and interested in front end development, my GA workshop is taking place this weekend:
https://generalassemb.ly/education/introduction-to-javascript-weekend-workshop/new-york-city/1661

If it's just a small handful of you I can get you in gratis -- but if it's a grip of you I think I'd get on GA's shetlist since they take half the proceeds. :(

I'm an engineer @ Google doing front-end JavaScript, would love to see some of you. Please email me if you're interested and we'll go from there!

Andy
